Customer Service/Business Marketer

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Customer Service / Business Marketer at JCM Group Services. This dual role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while also contributing to the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and drive sales. This role requires a blend of strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, marketing knowledge, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Wages: £12.50 - £13.50/hr depending on experience

Working Hours: 20 hours/week

Job Description

Responsibilities (Customer Service):

 

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social media.

  • Provide accurate information about products/services, pricing, and company policies.   

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and empathetically.

  • Proactively identify and address potential customer pain points.

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and feedback.

  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members.

  • Contribute to the development of customer service procedures and best practices.

  • Monitor online reviews and social media mentions, responding appropriately and proactively.

  • Analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.   

 

Responsibilities (Business Marketing):

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., social media, email, content marketing).

  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, website, and marketing materials.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

  • Identify target audiences and develop targeted marketing messages.

  • Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events and promotions.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads and support sales efforts.

  • Contribute to the development of marketing budgets and strategies.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and technologies.

  • Manage and update customer databases and CRM systems.

  • Contribute to the overall brand building and reputation management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in customer service and/or marketing (relevant internships or entry-level positions considered).   

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and marketing automation tools.   

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing techniques.

  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.   

  • Data-driven and analytical mindset.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a related industry.

  • Experience with graphic design or video editing software.
